Minutes of the October 4, 2011 General Meeting
INTRODUCTION OF MEETING:
Meeting was called to order at 6:33 p.m. by Kari Rousey.
Kari opened the meeting by welcoming everyone that attended.

TREASURERâS REPORT:
Kari gave the bank balance for October 4, 2011.
SECRETARY REPORT:

Motion was approved by the members
Unfinished Business:
· Kari was able to get BBR sanctioning on the next 4 jackpots.
· Kari reported the September 17 roping was canceled.
Old Business:
· None.
New Business:
· Kari reported there will be a NJRA on November 19 â 2 shows starting at around 11 or 12. Kay can stock the concession but will not be able to attend this event and will ask for volunteering by email.
· A work day was scheduled for October 20 â an email will be sent out asking for workers to come out any time before the jackpot to weed eat, pick up trash and clean the concession.
· Sammy confirmed with Duane Clay that he could have cattle available to team penning in October and members voted to have team penning on October 11, 18, and 25.
· Home Coming Parade will be held October 13 same night as the barrel series. JP will be open until the last horse runs so all who rides in the Home Coming Parade will be able to run at the series.
Open Forum:

· Kelly said the SS Xmas Parade should be on Dec. 2 but hasnât received any information to confirm date.
· Kari will check on the church for an open date to hold the year end banquet on Dec. 3 or 10.
· Year-End Committee volunteers are: Denise, Kelly, Melinda, Melissa and Kay. They will meet on October 10 @ 4:30.
